Hey.... before there were speakers or radio, or books on tape ... people read to one another. And before there were books people still told each other the stories. Well I don't know that for fact... That is what I heard on the radio or saw it in a 7 minute video somewhere.
Now picking my nose... that on the other hand I hold a doctorate degree in.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on the language thing. There's so much to be communicated that simply can not be put into words, thank goddess. That's one of the reasons we need art.
All my favorite people will admit to picking their nose(s?).

Ah yes, books on tape. I've just finished listening to two: one on my drive to New Mexico, one on my way home. I find that I've gotten picky (even without the help of my nose) about the voice actors who read them. There's an art even to reading out loud.
