ahHA !,..that's what I was thinking (the knots between the layers) but wasn't sure. I've only made one quilt, which I'll show at some point, but I machined it myself so I only had a couple of tie offs which I hid at the edges before closing the final seem. You bet your sweet bippy (and yours is so very sweet, I'm sure) that I'll be hand quilting my next one. Thank you.
