Yeah, live in Germany for a couple of years and you'll stop thinking of it as "beauty" and start thinking of it as "fucking hell, it'll take forever to get my car out from under there".

Beautiful. seeing snow even for a little while is pretty profound out there. Rain even, for that matter, as I remember it.

I will never forget the beauty out there, the color palette of EVERYTHING, the unique wildlife, playing tetherball in temps over 100, the absolute desolation around residential areas...the very large population of transplanted EYE-talians from out East..ahem. NOTHING for miles and miles but these huge developments with stone walls to keep out the wildlife. the sky filled with 'WEIRD unexplained flying objects' at night ..and well, the scorpions on the bedroom ceiling...at grandma's house.  but REALLY, these are GOOD Memories to me..ALL GOOD.

The combo of the music and the scenery is just meditative.
