This is interesting, Harl. Is this historic site an underwater park? The images make me think of a novel, Superior Death by Nevada Barr, about a shipwreck on the bottom of Lake Superior. Simultaneously eerie and ethereal. Nice nod for Memorial Day.

No, Nature Junkie unfortunately it isnt, it isnt recognized at all, the U-Boat attacks were the only direct attacks that Nazi Germany made against North America ( the ships that were attacked were at the wharf being loaded with iron ore,only a few hundred feet from shore), and even though the wrecks are in very good shape, they are getting raped by treasure hunters and the like i wrote a blog about it on lv ill repost it here, the situation is enraging.
