Fun with mail order.

This is interesting, Amy. It seems like most of the people I know who prefer prescription mail services prefer it for the convenience of home delivery. But from what I've read, mail-order pharmacy companies are not showing the kind of profit margin that can undercut retailers like Walgreens and Walmart. So if it's not cheaper, I wonder why your insurance carrier is insisting on it? Perhaps they own Medco?
Anyway, I'm sorry to hear your white cell count is down. I'll be sending good thoughts your way. Until your immune system rebounds (and it WILL), keep your hands and arms well lotioned. Dry skin is more susceptible to cuts.
P.S. You look absolutely wonderful.
@ Michael- Thanks Michael ! All that magic goes a long way.
@ Jim- Thank you, kind sir. I feel fine and the paper cut healed after we cut it out with a bowie knife.
@ Space- That's still in the offing. If my company squeezes me out as an insurance risk, we're there.
@ Photo- *laughing* Yeah, I can just see Wile E. Coyote stuffing bags with pills and launching them in the general direction of my mailbox.
@ TheFlyingDutchman - Awww, thanks John. Now I know who to call.
@ NJ- I checked and Anthem does not not own Medco. I'm certain that there's some kinda' back scratching goin' on. The folks at our local Walgreens are AWEsome and I miss them. It was they (not my docs or nurses) who taught me how to inject my Octreotide when I was on it. One of the gals even gave me her home number and said to call any time if I needed help. I wonder if the Medco Customer Technicians would be willing to do that.
