I remember my first week of full-time employment. By Friday, I had developed an appreciation of all that my parents had ever done for me and it stayed with me my whole life. It was a good thing, and I hope Zach has a similar epiphany.

Actually, Marie, Zach is the biggest mama's boy EVER.  He'll call me "Mommy" until he's 98.  Pathetic, I know.  I created this monster.  With much love...but nevertheless....!

It seems like the child leaves very quickly (age 11-12), but the "becoming a man" part is much more gradual, don'tcha think?  ;o)
