This video gives you a good sense of how BIG Wisconsin's demonstrations are.

Today, despite the freezing snow, 100,000 people stood for worker's rights.

The last four seconds made me chuckle.

I don't see Americans as blameless, but they elect those who make empty promises, thinking they're electing someone who'll represent THEM when the reality is that they're representing the highest bidder.  How are they greedy, though, more so than those on Wall St. who gambled and lost at the expense of the American public knowing full well what the risks were?

You might enjoy watching 'The Corporation' a documentary film made in 2003. Corporations, as legal entities, are psychopaths!

The film makers, in cooperation with TVO (kinda like PBS), provided the film free with lesson plans to high-school teachers upon request. 

 

Also, Naomi Kleins book 'The Shock Doctrine' is enough to make any decent person weep. Milton Friedman and the whole Chicago School of Economics... may they rot in hell!
