How she knew that Cardinals are our favorites
we'll never know. They're just so darn polite and civilized. They allow other birds to butt in line, they always offer their food-prizes to their mates and off-spring first and they always say " Thank you ".
And yet, they manage to survive in a bird-eat-bird world. We could learn a lot from these "animals (?)".
