Sleepin' Off A Camp Hangover

07/13/11 Happens Every Year. Give your youngen's the gift of 4H international infused, fishin', cookin', turtle savin', wildlife protectin', target shootin', bear-duckin', early mornin' runnin', character-buildin', nature seekin', cookin', dancin', cooperatin', healthy eatin', cleanin yo-own-cabin', and gettin-yo-azz-up-at-dawn Camp....and they need a whole day of sleep each weekend. We join no churches, carry no flags or pledge indiscriminate loyalty to anything, but we share and respect the 4H values. No trophies just for showing up.

4H - "I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and my health to better living, for my club, my community, my country, and my world.”

The boys were given ONE Week 8 years ago after I discovered the camp through Rutgers Co-op, and have chosen camp attendance ever since. Both are now CIT and Fulltime Counselor. Can't say enough good things about 4H and Rutgers.

Employment is only granted after intense fulltime Rutgers administered training program and extended multi-step interview process. It takes from Jan-june. They always have a diverse set of dedicated international counselors. Middlemonk passing the test this year was a proud moment and he's SO happy as counselor. Mini is learning the ropes right now..."dont let your crayons melt".
