Trying to be Humble

I'd been workin' on that one for some time now and I was so glad to have the more recent vids you put up where you're dancin' up a storm. It's wonderful to see you in your element- or what I perceive as your element; in the company of good friends, you giving them the gift of your full being. The common denominator is that everyone's always smiling in your direction...

I'm just so glad there are souls like you out here in the e-niverse who are more about the output of ideas and creative expression. For me, you embody the creative spirit out here (along with a few others) and this whole time (the past two years), the idea of what it means to live an artist's life has been before me dancing its dance while I work away at a job that I love, but one which does very little in feeding that hunger for living in a way that honors creative spirit above all. I know I have a lot to offer in that respect given the time and the energy and so it's thanks to souls like you who show me by example what the goal is in terms of the essence I wish to feel in my life.

One of the things I've learned about myself is that I change very slowly (I call it "geological time"). I used to kick myself for being spiritually, artistically, and intellectually lazy until I noticed, in retrospect through journaling, that it happens but it just happens in increments that are unnoticeable (the way a river expands or deepens by slowly carrying away the Earth that holds it). So the change is happening and the river is indeed shifting its dimensions. I thank you for being one of the forces behind it.
