I believe you can feel what you're describing. I once told my eye doctor I could see a small tear in my retina. He didn't believe me, even after I directed his movements with his indenter until he could see it for himself. I found myself another eye doctor who knows how to listen to his patients.
I'm so sorry for the head pain you're experiencing. I hope you get relief from it soon.
