WOW. I'm sure this has a deeper emotional meaning to you, but to me, this was pure talent on display. Both visual and vocal talent. Great, great, great work lady.

Must feel good to belt out a song and actually sound great doing it. I got the first part down. ;)

Thanks Pyper! I came across a bunch of songs from the musical about a month ago on Youtube but this song stood out. It wouldn't leave my brain so I figured I'd give it a go and it was much more of a challenge than I thought it'd be. Appreciate the comment, as always :o)

Well that just rocks pure and simply. Heck of a lot more satisfying than chipmunks or screaming monkey. So I may have to recruit that voice for something (not as lame as 12 facts about Chig)
in the works. If you decline... I have that voice already doing it. So either way I win.

The surprise standout in last night's performance of " Next to Normal " was SydTheSkeptic's passionate and chock full of talent performance of the song "Super Boy and the Invisible Girl".
No one was sure why Syd showed up singing from stage right, but all who attended were glad of it. I believe we will see great things from Syd in the future.

I'm so glad you take the stage for us at the Ark once in a while, Syd, but I do wish more people could get to hear your voice. I think Blanche's "review" is spot-on: It would be great to see you in a theater production.

And ditto Pyper: I'm sure you chose this song because it reflects something personal for you. Maybe that's why it's so good.
