Whatever floats your boat...

More properly translated as "Song Of The Indian Guest," this piece was from the Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (1844-1908) opera called "Sadko" which was finished in 1896. Scott Crothers: Guitar, Arrangement & Orchestration

Just so beautiful. You know, it didn't sound very,..uh,.. "Indian" *laughing*.

It's obvious the composer was smitten with the place,...probably a little sad to have left it or maybe it sings of the home-sickness of the "Guest".

Either way, you certainly do the piece justice, Diesel.

@BlancheNoE: I guess ol' Sri Rimsky-Korsakov was trying to capture a mood rather than create what we'd recognize as strains of Indian music... maybe he left his Sitar and Tablas at the laundromat.  8-)

Very sweet. I guess he could have titled this anything, it's so evocative. Nice job, Diesel.

@NatureJunkie: Thank-you.  I was thinking about adding various Indian Instruments into the Arrangement, but then changed my mind.  8-)
