Oh Dan, this majorly SUCKS. (My gift for understatement showing.)

You wrote above to Lima "I'm crap at negotiating." I hope you'll use this as a major life lesson and develop the skill. The next time you're prepared to accept a job offer, take it for granted that the salary negotiation follows the offer and the position and salary are offered in writing by the employer following the negotiation. No respectable employer behaving professionally would blink at the suggestion that the hiring process should be otherwise. Any runaround on that issue at all is a major red flag that the employer cannot be trusted. Asking for it in writing has nothing at all to do with "trust"--it's a mark of professionalism and that's how business operates if they respect you.

I think these rat bastards did you a fantastic favor while simultaneously shooting themselves in the foot. Get the sweetest revenge, Dan--live well and succeed in spite (and because of) them.

this is the point where you you stick up a middle finger and say "and pardon my lingo" FUCK YOU

who did they think you were a cheap ass hooker working out of cardboard box wtf

either way its the teams loss and it will lead to detrement of the team seeing as their president is lining his pockets instead of investing in quality

ya know what though i have a feeling that a position at villa will be opening soon ;)

you have to go through the lows to feel the joy of the highs :)
