Whatever floats your boat...

Took my Government students with me (via vlog) to vote in the mid-terms and met three campaign volunteers along the way.

I once saw a guy dressed as a giant milkshake waving at traffic. Not sure he wanted me to vote cup though. Think he just worked for Quizno's.

",... leaving something better than you found it. "

I wish everyone felt this way and were truly aware of the impact that every single action has on ourselves, our progeny, our planet and even the future of the universe.

Yes, Syd. You do, in fact, rock.

My kind of video - except the Straight Democrat vote at the end.  ;0)

Kevin- Could you convince my students, maybe...?

Marie- I hope that's the case.  It's really hard to tell if you're really teaching something of value.  Tests don't say much, really.  It's what they leave with and ya never know what that really is.   :o)

Space- That was the Milkshake Party.  It sprung up around the same time as the Tea Party, although they didn't last too long because there was too much infighting about which flavor to endorse.   Personally, I had hoped they were gonna go with strawberry but it was a three-way tie and ultimately the controversy caused divisions that lead to the Milkshake Party becoming a watered-down version of itself.

Blanche- Me too, Amy.  Those volunteers were awesome, but I felt like that was the gist of the message I'd hoped my students would get from this.  Thank you.

Syd - Sad times for the milkshake party. It's a shame they couldn't be more Neopolitan.

I heard a lot about tea party's from my time in New England. Ultimately disappointing on the tea front.
