Thanks Blanche. That's why we named her Gemma---she's a "gem-of-a-girl." I would take her in a heartbeat too, if it weren't for my cats. *sigh*

NJ- you gave me a great idea for how I can help the animals at the shelter! I can make little videos of them to post on their site. They use great pics but a video really shows much more of their sentiment and personality!

Syd, my current volunteer work was partly inspired by that "Beautiful" video that Chig did. The inspiration keeps on spreading, it seems. And you yourself have more to do with this than you know. I'll send you a PM later and tell you about it.

I soooooooooooo want her! But we just can't. Lola's finally adjusting and she had some hidden medical issues too. I'll be on the lookout for a new home for her, though...!

@ Ruth: Lola, from what I've seen of her, is every bit as special as Gemma and I'm glad she found you. For sure though, if you hear even a whisper from anyone who might be right for Gemma, please write me.
