20 years ago I found myself pregnant and in no position to care for a new and deserving life. Lucky for us all, her mom and dad were right where they were supposed to be when we needed them. That beautiful girl child recently decided she wanted to meet me. She's known my son, her brother, for 4 years now. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it was to see her and her parents for the first time in 20 years. It is as if it was only yesterday..... It was so easy, natural and so full of love.
Now I want to share.

oh my dear Amy. She is YOU, youthful, courageous, beautiful, innocent, open, passionate...just beauty. I have just seen the most beautiful thing I've seen in a long while, and boy is it the perfect time. What else could a mother want for a child but to see her THRIVING, growing, drinking up life in good health and harmony with the rest of the world. There is no better thing for a mother to see. I am SO happy for you all.

When I saw the thumbnail of this, I thought, oh-an early music vid from Blanche in younger days, this'll be a treat. That's how much she looks like you.
But she's an amazing talent, Amy, not just a young beauty. Her voice is a great vehicle for those wonderful songs. Like mother, like daughter.
And like mother, I hope she's working on a CD.
