No one has ever hacked my P@ssw0rd :D
TG, the method is exactly like a spy cypher. One of the classic old time dodges was for the spy to carry an ordinary book and he could communicate by sending back a string of numbers, which page which word on the page, that could be pieced together by the spy master using his copy of the same book.
I remember reading about an English general who conquered Sindh, a province in India. He sent a telegram back to his commanding officer "peccavi" which is Latin for "I have sinned". In those days I guess that seemed safe.
You are lucky, Scott, that the NSA doesn't read my posts anymore so you are probably still secure. They also unfriended me on Facebook but that's another story.
This is Julian Assange's actual password:
ACollectionOfDiplomaticHistorySince_1966_ToThe_PresentDay#
That looks effectively uncrackable since it has so many characters and it includes upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters. It looks pretty easy to remember if it was a favorite book.
so far I have had pretty good luck with mine, of course I prob, should be more careful. I have a method that whatever numbers I use, I use the same in shift key, example 5 is % so I use 5Password% , or something to that nature.
