Whatever floats your boat...

A note about my grandmother: She was not Amish. She was a suffragette who subscribed to the H.G. Wells philosophy of free love. I believe she sampled a few wares in her time, *wink wink, nudge nudge*, but I have no idea how many lavender sticks she may have employed in doing so.

I can't say whether or not this works for the lovelorn, but it certainly works wonders for general malaise due to seasonal allergies. I feel better than I have since the beginning of April.
I just love this Robin. Please thank your niece for me for inspiring you to make this video,..and
good luck to her in love.

This was so sweet!! What a great gesture of love to do this for the next generation.

And no...can't say I've ever seen one of those!

Can I have one? So Cool. My ever-lovin-sister-n-law Lisa is a crafty lady and she would love this little project. I'll have to make sure Lisa watches your How-To Video. It's a sweet that you give your niece some tips on how to woo a crush. I hope she uses it and it works for her. I once made a mix tape for a girl I crushed on in High School. Today I use a more direct approach like a flirty yet sincere compliment.

I really like your smile NatureJunkie.

@ BlancheNoE: May you never need to put one of these under John's pillow. I will not need to pass your thanks on to my niece, as I will extort her into watching this video and she will see your comments herself.

@ Syd: My memory of the afternoon my grandmother taught me how to do this is one of the sweetest memories I have of her. Or of anything.

@ Pyper: The Mixed Tape. !!! I'd forgotten all about that. Scratch everything I said in these videos. Just go with the mixed tape.

Fantastic!!! I'd make one just because it looks fun and relaxing... do you think if I give it to my husband that he will do the dishes?

@ Peacenik: Thanks, my sistah. I try to keep 'em clean.

@ Christine: This was a looooog video. I expected it to put people to sleep, so I'm glad it was of special interest to you. I'm a big fan of lavender too, especially lavender soap. Yardley Olde English Lavender Soap especially. It's probably made in New Jersey, but that doesn't keep me from imagining I'm bathing in a Jane Austin cottage.

@ Timber: My own goal in making these was just getting a first date. Unlike you, you lucky thing, I've never gotten to the spouse-doing-the-dishes phase of romance.

But it never hurts to smell nice.
