Adventures in Vlogging-Part 1: Gateway to The Vlogosphere

This is a reflective series about the nature of vlogging as I've experienced it.

Thank you to Bill Daniels (a very talented life-long friend) for the use of his music.

I'm still waiting for "The Fear Chronicles" box set,...and you're right. Humans can be so, so beautiful. It seems to happen best when they're not trying. Very nice music. I'm sure glad you were curious.

Amy and Suz- you guys are SO gonna be in some upcoming chapters. I've been wanting to do this for a long time.

Amy- so true about how humans are most beautiful when not trying. We're glorious in our simple desires and the dreams we harbor.

This is going to be an interesting series. Vlogging/Blogging has facinated and repulsed me. It has opend my world, no doubt.

I'm excited about watching your journey unfold. I love to find out what brings people to anything new (hobbie, love...etc.)

Just want you to know that you have been an inspiration to me to be involved in the blog/vlogosphere in many ways. Thank you Syd! :-)

Thank you SaboCatGirl for looking lovely in you thumbnail so that I clicked your video while I was browsing for skateboard accidents and sleeping cats ;-)

I pretty much had the same experience from then on.

Wow...what an awesome perspective...you have such reverence in your voice when describing your discovery of this thing called "vlogging"...it makes me want to discover it through your eyes...

You were my Peter Syd.

This video is great. I see my own generalisations reflected here and know that I'm wrong to make them. So again I'm challenged and learning from your vlogs. Two and half years on and you still make me do that! Thank you ; )

I discovered vlogging through YouTube also. I was doing a search on the author, Caroline Knapp, hoping to find an interview with her, but instead I found a video titled The Big Book Read. "WTF?" was my reaction. I really didn't understand what I was seeing. But I'll always remember that video as the first time I saw the girl of my dreams, a rising internet star of many videos to come. I sorta fell in love with her.

Her name is Boodah.
