The music at the beginning and the end was the them from "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead." Written by Carter Burwell.
The voices are a criminal lawyer who was interviewed by Errol Morris for his teevee show, and the husband of con woman Norma Khouri. His interview is included in the DVD extras of "Forbidden Lies."
You'll notice that all the books are by the same author and feauring the same series character. It might be boring to explain how all this came together on Sunday, but I was doing little web research on the Florida real estate booster Charles Ort, who promoted Key Largo in the 1920s... and one thing led to another.
