"The curve of light in #2..." At first I thought you meant the line of the shadow cast by the door. It is slightly curved, and that has always bothered me (defies the laws of physics!). But now I realize you meant the little orb of light next to the shadow. At a certain time every day, the sun used to shine through that window and the crystal door knob would focus it into a luminous orb of light on the floor. It's what the whole picture is about, and you got it.
I apologize for hijacking the comments section of your video. I should have responded to you here and let all the comments be about your quilt. I'm enjoying the inside look at your process.
I was virtually strolling through the lanes of virtual world (the interwebs) when I came across your beautiful tree on display in the virtual neighborhood just up the virtual lane. I'll bet if that tree could,.....it would throw you to the freshly aerated soft earth and make wild, passionate love to you.
We had a big song and dance number planned but then suddenly it was 4 o'clock and we had to eat dinner ( last food must go in by 5:00 to avoid evening reflux) and then we got tired.
I don't know how you young whipper-snappers do it,...makin' us look bad.
So sorry, I have not forgotten you. I have a huge project underway, and my back has gone out.
It may take me a couple of days to get to it. I know it is not much, but feels like the proverbial straw. Don't let my lateness hang you up, I am definitely going to make the effort, but understand if you have to sail without me.
