Whatever floats your boat...

sexy...... or serial killer in the making?

Should I be worried that Dogmom likes this?   Every song is a blood bath.

Sure its catchy...

Going back to listening to  Damien Rice now.

Nah... she is only moderately scary.  Its the Trent Reznor in he soul coming out.

Saw the Lollapalooza performance on youtube as well.  Not convinced she is playing the bass guitar, but evidentlly she is the song writer.

Love her tone with a sometimes unsteady but tight vibrato.  Her intensity is attractive- good acting chops.

Don't be worried. If Dogmom was out for you, she would have long ago spread peanut butter on your neck while you were sleeping.

Nice share. she's got a nicely varied tracklist- The "go" track has a serious Depeche Mode arrangement to it,and she's using different vocal styling on each track. For instance, the "Monster" track is like listening to a very early Fiona Apple, then there's a bit of Shirley Manson. i used to adore Amy Lee until I heard her live and realized she's pretty heavily produced; this girl's got a similar style without the music committing to a genre..smart, imo.  We don't have enough Angry Dangerous Girls in music, imo, so rock on little Meg. I dig, most definitely.  I like the way she's evolved over the last few years as I'm listening to her older stuff. I like a few that she did with Doctor Rosen Rosen.

Why can't it be both?

Because MOTC, they broke the sexy serial killer mold after they made you.

TG there are a ton of videos doing acoustic versions of Desire.  She can sing... but I am more worried about the hand that holds the blade.

Reminds me of "Nine Inch Nails". Dogmom has good taste.
