30-Something Challenge within a Challenge

Hey folks, it occurs to me that we all come from or near cities with a lot of history: Quebec, Albuquerque, St. Louis, Topanga, Manchester. Ever thought about what a favorite spot of yours looked like a hundred years ago? I'd love to see some then-and-now vids of your own places, for anyone so inclined.

That's great, you guys. I really, really dig this kind of stuff. Other people's photo albums have always been as interesting to me as my own, so I hope no one shies away from personal history, either.

Interestingly enough I am playing with a much longer vid which sorta features the history of a couple buildings (among other things). I'll extract Memorial Hall and/or the Boston Public Library and post them here.
