Today a team I coach won a tournament. We've been having a tough time this season with games where we've played well but don't always get the results we deserve. But this weekend the team were brilliant.

Tonight I get an email from parents requesting a meeting with me to discuss their son's playing time.

The last tournament one of my teams won earlier this season was followed by a phone-call from a parent who wanted to discuss their daughters playing position.

I'm now officially pissed off with these dumb-ass parents who only give a shit about their own kid and feel I should put individuals before the team even though, quite clearly, what I'm doing is working very nicely thank you very much.

My ex used to coach all our kids' teams. He was great at it. The parents were TERRIBLE. I hated them all by the end of the season.

just keep telling them that they have the wrong number......then use the always-fun "block number" feature (if your phone co. has it).......it's the most satisfying 5 bucks a day you'll spend this year......
