Whatever floats your boat...

MrPoe and I visited the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and learned that revisionist history is alive and well.

Does every President have their helicopter at their library? I mean, is it any wonder we're in a fiscal crisis? Can't helicopters be RECYCLED? Although I can understand Presidents after Nixon not wanting to travel in that 'copter, what with all the taping devices.

@Deborah. We got out alive and MrPoe didn't cause any problems. We might get arrested when we go back with Mac though. : )

@photo2010: I don't know if other Presidents have helicopters but I know that President Reagan has a retired Air Force One at his. His library is also 100 acres where President Nixon's is 9.

Probably not any Clinton bashing books at the Clinton library either.
BTW how do they explain him leaving office?

Omigosh- I'm so late coming to this VID!!!! THanks for the birthday greetings, lol!!

That must be a very strange place, indeed...
Did you hear that George W. Bush's library, which is now in the planning stages, will be TWICE the size of his daddy's? hehe

@Jay1p: They don't really explain it. One person said "when he left office" and another person said "when his presidency was over."

@Syd: You're welcome! Are you serious about the Bush Libraries? That's pretty sad. I don't know how large the others are, but Ronald Reagan's is 100 acres. That seems huge to me.
