Hey Syd, Teddy must have been very young in this video, in my memory his frame was much larger and his fur more dense. Was that Taboo I saw in there..? Do you remember her? Or the story of when Teddy and his litter mates were born? Taboo wouldn't let anyone near the puppies, not even grandma and grandpa, but one day they found me in the room with her and the puppies and me happily giving each of the puppies a bath in Taboos drinking water and Taboo licking me while I was doing it....

Very beautifully edited, Syd. It gave me a lump in my throat, and I don't even know these folks. I'm glad you were able to rescue and archive as much imagery as you did. My family doesn't have any kind of film or video of our members dating before two years ago (my parents could never have afforded a movie camera). I'd give anything to have my parents and grandparents on film now.

Spacemonkey- Funny how much you can forget.
I know, right..?

Blanchie- My friends and family are much more comfortable with me and my camera these days cuz they know, after three years of vlogging, I won't put it up online. Wish I could, though. But I make videos for them only and they love 'em so now they're on the verge of being HAMS! Make some vids for them if you haven't already and they'll stop bitchin'. ;o)

Pyper- Why aren't you a documentary film maker exactly?
Would love to do that. I have plans...sort of. You'll see.

Dee- Teddy was young- a teenager in dog years. I don't remember that about Taboo.

EVERYONE- Thanks so much for commenting. You helped me to appreciate the saved footage a bit more seeing as most people don't have this kind of family history preserved.

There was so much more footage but I chose these pieces to show my friend what his music did for me- what it evoked.

Did Ted Turner colorize the film for you? You could hardly notice the hand cranking of the camera.
That was fun to watch.
