Whatever floats your boat...

i have NEVER been approved for help with Anything in my life. THank you Universe.

i spent weeks contacting each manufacturer of Orthopedic HA ,and specialty pharmacies asking about incentives, discounts, payment plans, because my private insurance cutoff Treatment since last year. By calling them all in a row, I discovered, J&J owns DePuy Synthes which Owns Anika-which produces Monovisc. I spoke to a Nurse at J&J - who admitted J&J has an assistance program. I collected my financial data, testing results, and medical records, and applied--expecting rejection.

I go to the Doctor Today to get aspiration & cortisone while waiting for more rejection.

She opens my file" OH there's a fax, you've been APPROVED." she said "When you sent the form for us to complete, I had NEVER seen anything like this. HOW did you find this program? we have been writing letters of protest for over a year, on behalf of our patients, with no luck. No one has ever used this program, no one knows it exists".

My answer was the same as always ->>>> She Persisted

it rarely brings a fruitful end, but we dont call it a battle if it's a cakewalk.

I learned everything i could, called from the Lab to manufacturer to distributor to pharmacy to nurses who work for pharma and found someone to tell me the TRUTH. it's hidden for a reason

I DO suspect , Large Orthopedic practices, KNOW about Assistance programs and would NEVER inform OR SIGN applications on behalf of their patients. I was forced to use a Large Ortho group, before My genetic testing allowed me to see a Rheumo and Geneticist. IF doctors shared this knowledge with patients, they WOULDN't Be able to CHARGE you $1550 CASH for injections. This is the FIRST doctor I have found in 2 years, who is actually practicing Medicine- she even tries to find solutions and spends more than 2.5 Minutes with patients.

a very important study day wasted, but first good news in a while.
HA is not a cure, but it keeps me walking for now.
Nothing GOOD ever happens for me, so Imma still sleep with one eye open, one foot on the floor, until It's in my legs.
