An annual thing.
Thanks to my friends, and especially to Wendy, the joke-teller.
They knew I was doing 30 vids in 30 days, so they were sports about being in a vid (this time, anyway, lol).

YOU made those cannolis? Very impressive, Syd. Did you start this food ritual yourself, or is it a tradition started by someone else?

I made 'em, yes, but they weren't as good as years past. I tried something new with ground pistachios- sounds much better than it tasted, lol.
Got the idea from a number of different rituals in different cultures and decided on cannoli as the food cuz, well, ya know, it's CANNOLI! And I'm Italian, so it's a holiday comfort food. ;o) Did it first for my students but it got too expensive so then I made my friends suffer through it and to my surprise, they liked it!
