YES!!! ..a zone out! We do that when we read, too, and I use the driving example in my lessons around reading to let my kids know it's okay if they zone out when they read- we all do it. We read a page or two before we realize we weren't really following.

@Syd..Much less dangerous to zone out reading methinks, lol. it always freaked me out when I'd snap out of it and wonder how I didn't run off the road somewhere.
