Whatever floats your boat...

I'm sure this isn't the story Marie wanted to hear with her boys going away to college and all, but here you go. My first lesson in college-level chemistry: never mix grape and grain.

ah the good old days, eh?  that's a great story NJ!  I spent a couple years visiting Santa Cruz on a regular basis and loved it SO much.

@ Victoria: It's a great place, isn't it? When I was a kid, it was just a sweet little town where you could go to ride a rollercoaster and tan yourself on the beach. Then they had to put that damn university there and turn it into a hippie haven for people like me.

@ Chig: Pyper pretty much outlined the whole plot in her comment above. You didn't miss much but the credits, but thank you for watching. : -)

Buahahaha! The walking barefoot over sticks and gravel would have made me cry! I'm such a pansy! I think my first drunk probably happened when I was about 8. My dad was the football coach and every Friday night after the game the team and their wives would come to our house. I would go around and just pick up whoever had a beer sitting around and take a swig. Apparently, I thought drunk, football playing sailors' spit was good because I made the rounds every so often and as long as it was still cold I'd get mine. :c )

@ Dana: Although I never got a buzz off it, my first experience with alcohol was the same. I thought beer must be pretty good because my dad drank it a lot. And it had bubbles in it, so I figured it must be like Coke or 7Up. My dad and his buddies never completely finished a can though. They'd always leave a small amount at the bottom (probably as it reached room temperature). I'd sneak around and drain off those remaining sips, until the first time I got a mouthful of beer and cigarette ash from a can the drinker had used as an ash tray. NEVER AGAIN!
