THE END OF A VERY LONG DECADE
It just hit me that we aren't just entering a new year but a new decade... which made me look back on the last 10 years which made me realize how long a decade its been and how happy I am to be done with it.
In the last 10 years I have lived through; moving my entire family to TN from NY, my husband having to go to jail in NY, moving everyone back to NY from TN, my father dying, my uncle dying, my grandmother (father's mother)dying. Prepared to move upstate (yes so I could see my husband more often) so I quit my job and gave up my house, only to find out 36 hours later that my husband was coming home on work release... so now I had no place to live and no job...brother let all of us move in with him, got another better job, husband got a pretty good job. Rented our own house.. got back on our feet. Grandfather died, Husband was offered a job in TN so we packed everyone back up and moved back to TN.... and here we are... 10 years later, back where we started in Tennessee...Oh. and my mother in law died and my grandmother died.
I am looking forward to the next 10 years being much better. Here is hoping that the new year and the new decade find you all in a better, happier place.

The never-ending cycle of life...! At least your life isn't boring. That'd be worse :-)
The only thing that's certain is that life and death and everything in between will carry on as always...!

well... lets see.
We are beyond broke, my daughter is working for a fast food chain, her husband hasn't been able to find a job since they moved here, my husband has been out of town for a week and I am in a great deal of pain.
However, my husband has a job and he will be back tomorrow night(sunday), my daughter DOES have a job, my son in law has a few prospects, I get to see my beautiful grand daughter every day and so far.. no one has died.. All in all... its the start to a very good decade..LOL
