Whatever floats your boat...

Started this banjo project in July of 2019 when i won the ebay auction for the old neck with the cool ivory inlay running up the center. next I found the rim from the same seller about a week later. Turned out it was the rim that actually went with the neck originally. Spent the next month and a half repairing, finding hardware appropriate for the period of banjo, sanding, polishing, and making my own parts to finally finish this up last week! I'm really pleased with how it came out!

Baby's a dancer! She's beautiful.

So is that banjo. For the inlay that you replaced, what material did you use, assuming that there's no antique ivory to match it with?

Your videos are inspiring me to dig my five-string banjo out of the closet and play it again. I haven't played it since I was in my 20s and I have a lot to relearn.

I used two old antique ivory piano key covers to replace the missing pieces worked perfectly! You should definitely get that old banjo out!
