I love this woman's voice.    I love Portishead.   So I love when she covers portishead.  BTW this Friday Lisa Hannigan has a new CD out.   YAY!   later this fall in Berlin, both She and Damien Rice will be performing at the same 5 day event.  I am so hoping they might bury the hatchet and do one or two songs together.   But I wont hold my breath.

omg..YES! i agree with both you and Lisa Hannigan...  a most mesmerizing masterpiece, this song is..always has been for me. inspiring in many ways... romantically and artistically. the song has a history for me, and WOW did she just knock it out of the park. I enjoyed the little personal touch she put on it, an innocence ..

Portishead oh Portishead...how you pickle my head with those melodies..   Thanks OODles for this share. I confess, it is my FIRST musical interlude in months..and my first at a place i can now call 'home". nothing is better than music and home.   im gonna go ahead and call this cosmic in some strange way..hello chiggums.  the excitement of getting interwebz for the first time since June, is immeasurable...  Ahhhhhh , life can begin again

Well. Muse I can potentially see coming out here again... but Lisa.... Hmmm... she might make it to New York.  Maybe LA.   However I suspect like Damien, just hits the highlights of the US.  Not a full on tour.... Let me see how my experience is traveling to see Michael Giachhino's concert in LA.   Then again... as unlikely as it seems, Glenn Hansard is playing downtown here in September... so you never really know.
