I hear there's something or other going on in politics right now but I haven't had time to pay attention because I'm too distracted by this new reality show that's on every channel everywhere these days.

OH!, but I have been enjoying the the art mash-up movies of the past decade,  the vampires with Lincoln and prideful zombies.

I would like to see "Monty Python and the Holy Foucault's Pendulum VS The Justice League of America",

Please.

Is that how it's done? I just put my request in, right?

Okay, when I watched the Julia Roberts thingy, I thought, hmmm, this reminds me of a bumper sticker I've seen, which I was thrilled about when I saw it because I knew enough German to understand it: "Die Natur braucht den Menschen nicht, der Mensch braucht die Natur." NJ's translation: Nature doesn't need the human being, the human being needs nature.

I Googled it to be sure I remembered it right. And I found out it's the slogan of Conservation International. The organization that produced that Julia Roberts thingy. But C.I. didn't originate the slogan either.

Or even Kurt Vonnegut. Turns out it was all lifted from Michelle Obama's DNC convention speech of 2008.

@ NJ- HA ! Have you considered running for president? I'd vote for you. Seriously, I think you have a shot.
