I do second takes all the time. Once you accept that as a part of the process, it'll make your life a lot easier ;-)

Also: Chig has way more unfinished projects than you.

Appreciate the Challenge, Geoff. It's a really good idea because I'm pretty sure most folks here just keep it to themselves unless they feel it's "just right" for sharing.

You got me surfing/researching the Fairies and the dark material related to the Enoch Soames story. Funny, the name rarely comes up, but the main character in"Boardwalk Empire" is Enoch, (Nucky) Johnson.  Also, That Japanese character in the clip ---Japanese Vampire?  i like...

When The Legend Becomes Fact, Print the Legend!  Really liked that cut-in. So valid.

TG, there are a bunch of people who have "fleshed out" Enoch Soames on the web--writing poetry that they say was written by him, etc. I've seen drawings of him (not drawn by Beerbohm I mean) that try to capture his combo platter personality--arrogant and pathetic. Soames liked to wear a cape because he thought it looked dashing, but the fact that was waterproof kinda nullified the effect.

I gave up on Boardwalk Empire and then I read somewhere that season 4 was really good so I'm going to dive back in.

The Japanese character is a sexually twisted aristocrat who dresses in his dead mother's clothes and smokes deadly poisons to get high. If that sounds over-the-top it is because it isn't really clear if he is a real person or just a character in an over-the-top horror story. He's half-real, half-fiction, like Enoch!

Peter, I think it would be cool if Chig talked through his current collaboration idea on video.

I've heard that about you, that you do second takes--to finish off the wounded.

I've done second and even third takes but they tend to get worse and worse. I get sidetracked and disappear down rabbit holes. I take too long to get to the point. I want to write everything out not to memorize it, but to zero in on what I want to say.

Wait, celebrities get decoder rings ? That settles it. I'm breaking back into my youtube channel, changing my name to Ramona Purple and writing a song called " Wednesday".

Damn right "Squirrel Century". Their time has come.

20 points for working "Snidely Whiplash" into this vlog.

The part about external hard drives made me think of LtAdams. He keeps his in his water-closet. Pen had to use one as a pillow when he stayed with Peter last year.

You know, all my unfinished business is with Chig, Peter, annelidafilms and you. Geeze, I'm the libra of the bunch. I'm supposed to be the one who doesn't finish stuff and why do I suddenly feel like I've forgotten something... Oh crap. I left Pen in the car with the windows rolled up again. Gotta' go.

Yes the current collab.... not forgotten.   That video explanation might work Geoff.   However I must warn you that I am still confusing in video (and partially by design, because I like to see how people can take things next level in a surprising way that I alone could not think of.)   The next couple weeks is a busy time, but I will try to get a video out for you guys.   By the way I love this unfinished projects month idea of yours.

Oh and that Market Basket Supermarket thing had made the news a couple weeks back... even out here in Arizona.  Thanks for the update.

So very interesting, I want to point out that your Japanese horror movie reminded me of Curtis, Cat's doppleganger...

I guess I really have abandoned video making... I have been so busy, being gone all last year for OEF. now back and working long hours, closing on a house and trying to get my life in order, on top of doing photography and working on a package for the military to switch jobs :)     I have been working on a video I will try to upload and I did start an artsy fartsy project with some quick setting concrete and plastic jugs.  :D

I'm not sure about your hypothesis that the celebrities recognize each other. I consider myself a celebrity. I mean, come one, I'm NatureJunkie.

And yet when I wave to Francis Ford Coppola at Trader Joe's, he does not wave back.

Mickey Rourke is looking much better in that thumbnail than I remember him!

Comment by Geoff on October 13, 2014 at 11:26am

Poor Mickey Rourke. Remember this from "Sunset Boulevard"?: You know, a dozen press agents working overtime can do terrible things to the human spirit. Maybe it's the publicity, maybe it's the plastic surgery, maybe it's just plain old Mickey.

He seems so strange in this clip. I have it on good authority that when he waves to NatureJunkie at Trader Joe's she ducks behind the stacked pyramid of sunflower seed butter.
