The Ark

Whatever floats your boat...

What takes time is collecting the pieces. Then I assemble what I've got and somewhere around two thirds to three quarters of the ideas or clips or images won't be used. I had a more complex video in mind originally, a section on planetary alignment for example. I think playing it straight down the middle turned out to be the right approach, but there are other, less polished, videos I like better.

Enjoyed much Geoff. This came out really good, love the heads in the middle... I am always a sucker for synchronize movements... really good editing.

Thanks, Lima. The heads all belonged to Ruby Keeler. At the time that movie was made, probably half the women in America did want to be Ruby Keeler. That's a Busby Berkeley sequence, of course (as are the black and white marching boots at the beginning). People laugh at his campiness and overlook his big talent sometimes.

Uriel, while the sequences were selected from several possibilities, I never thought to bring in fireworks. Now that you bring them up I can see how they could have been used to really excellent effect since fireworks reside halfway between militarism and entertainment.
