I KNEW you were one those re-in-car-nates.
So,...surely you've forgiven me by now for the whole ass's jaw bone to the head thing,....right? *puppy dog eyes*
Thinking of you as I just finished editing my first vid shot with the Sanyo. I filmed it in HD but I couldn't figure out how to import/and or render and/or convert in HD, whatever all that means *laughing*. I'll learn along the way, but even if it is not fully HD, I think it looks fantastic. I still owe you a side by side and will get to it. Thanks for your help, Geoff. If not for that, I would have procrastinated for another 6 months.
Yes, I agree aboubt weird choices, including the German-Romanian woman.
But Vargas ILosa is a great choice: He is very educated, excellent storyteller, showed political thinking + political initiave.
Of course I am assuming that you are working on a novel. I think it was Goethe who said something like: "The more novels I read the less I am convinced about my own work"
Non-fiction instead of fiction. I noticed this at other american friends also.
Perhaps that is why American writers have not enough readers and have difficulties with the nobel price in literature.
I only read fiction books, non-fiction for me is covered in my newspapers (which always include reviews of all important non-fiction books).
Your interest in economics is amazing. I could imagine that it is very difficult to develop an own critical opinion about an economics book without the backgroud of a degree in economics.
The American republican Heather DeLisle is getting more and more air time on German tv. Tonight again in a discussion on prime time about islamic immigration. Normally there is no ""native American"" influence on German tv whatsoever...

I just looked at my bookshelf, I have read at least "Los cuadernos de don Rigoberto", very recommendable according to my memory.
Nevertheless Pres of the Web called you "supersmart" in the current election campaign...
Did you notice, that Grossman recieved the German peace prize?
