I instantly regret this.

I sent our clips 19 hours ago. I checked and still don't see the documental on Vimeo. This is unacceptable. This is at least 5 years in internet-time. What gives ?

Blanche's point about internet time is something someone should address in this documentary. I had forgotten about internet time. It's so different now when I look in on the Ark about once a week, when in the LV days I would start to feel high anxiety at work if my job had kept me from checking LV for more than 30 minutes. (I spent huge amounts of work time on LV, and yet I think I was never more productive at my job than during those years because I felt energized all the time.) If I didn't get to see a video until four hours after someone posted it, then I had already missed the chance to be a part of the comment loop. People sometimes posted response videos within minutes, and by the end of a day, there might be five or six videos that were all part of the same conversation. By the next day, the conversation was dead and people had moved on to something else. If someone was absent from LV for a week, I'd start to worry they'd been killed in a car wreck or something---'cause what else could possibly explain staying away for what amounted to years?

I started out on YT, hated it, and when I moved to LV and saw Blanchie's big balloon boobs, I was hooked.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Videos...okay.

Thanks, Syd, for letting us know you haven't been killed in a car wreck or something.

OMG, I am so excited about this project! Since LV is gone, it only exists in the minds of those who lived it. It is up to us to keep the memory alive. I will contribute all I can, Doug! I'll email you today. Jim (glad2bhere)
