Here come the Bennies and the Shoebies

Ah Memorial Day Weekend is on it's way. We brace early, around Thursday as the traffic coming "down the shore" begins and most locals either work their way through it or stay home until it's over. Technically the fun is over for us. Gone will be the days of early morning deserted beaches, boardwalks and fishing inlets. Until Labor Day, it's tourist heaven. So there I was in the Amazon, surrounded by these native tribesmen at spear-point .... they tied me to a steak and were carrying me back to their tribe when suddenly I started to figure out their language and learned it right there on the spot. I told them a few jokes and they made me their new king. That's how I learned to "center" my self with silly arm movements while standing in knee deep water.
