This is not about couples relationships..but about the beauty and serenity of many things in this life. This is the place to share anecdotes, stories, ideas, parody, goof on each other, and put to rest the poopooing of the idea of romance.
Of course I'm in. It's the only way I'm gonna' get to see Sara's glow-in the-dark unmentionables. You are gonna' show those here, right ?

I promise not to throw a tomato. I grow my own and they taste too good to toss! As an artist I have learned to take in the romance of the moment and engage the senses. One has to strop away the surrounding cacophony of our "normal" lives in order to do that. Sensualist that I am, I constantly seek those moments out.
I'm very drawn to love, peace, beauty, harmony, all those yin and yang things. I'm not as thrilled about the traditional flowers, candy, opening doors, offering your arm, hallmark type of romance. I don't like love to be formulaic. So I guess I would call myself a romantic, but in a very individualistic way. Thanks for the invite, Sara, it's good to be here. :::lighting a scented candle:::
Romance hmmm yes wicked fun thing. Bun is a romantic gift. Dont tell her I told. She would sniff at the idea. *Throwing a green tomato and another* Now fry them babies up and lets chat.
Howdy Hopeless Romantics
Greetings from Not-Europe
I spent 52 long weird, frustrating and soul crushing years on my quest until I finally found what I was looking for. Was it worth it? I gotta go ask my wife.

being hopeless in love to give in to temptation to fall into inhibition to forget your senses and act on compulsion to alays think of one person and no one else for all eternity

If at all possible, I would like to get this group active again. I invite anyone at all to participate by joining the group, starting a discussion, or contributing to one of the existing discussions. Sara's very short on time right now, so she's asked me and a couple of other members to be admins. Can we breathe new life into this group that had such an inspirational beginning? The honeymoon can't be over this soon. ;)
Romance is the thoughtful commitment to one's partner focusing on the good things that drew you together and remembering... as Alzheimer's sets in it is harder to keep the romance alive... any other old farts out there who have helpful hints on how they stay romantic??

I dont know but when I hear the word 'romantic' it always reminds me of this 80s band below:
but yeah, few people know that I am 'romantic' in real life but never 'hopeless' LOL
Honored to be part of this group Sara!
